This blanket is made from four layers of high temp fabric designed to insulate radiant heat created from the hot turbine housing on your turbo charger,

The benefits of running a CoolTorque turbo Bennie are cooler engine bay temps resulting in lower overall intake temperatures, it also helps protect engine component from heat that can suffer from premature failure with prolonged exposure to excessive heat generated from the turbocharger turbine housing. 

Blistered paint burned electrical wire and melted sensors are all prone to fail with excessive heat generated from aftermarket placement of turbochargers. Cooltorque turbo beenie will reduce these temperatures and help to also improve performance as a result of lower intake temps
